Default Would this make anyone else uncomfortable if they are trying to date someone?

You find out they have a roomate who is of the opposite sex and straight? I met this girl 2 weeks ago but it's just something about her having a straight male roomate that makes me kind of hesistant to continue on. Normally if a date someone they live alone or with family so that roomate thing kind of throw me off. And it's a shame too because she is such a nice person but just has a unusual living situation.

Just because she has a male roomate who happens to be straight that doesn't mean she's romantically involved with him. If you like this girl well enough to ask her out then go for it.

Yeah I noticed I want perfection, not physically but the perfect fit for me. It just seems like it always that one thing that makes me go-"I'm not sure If I want to continue this" And I usually say that when I found out the things below

I don't like watching TV
I have a male roomate
I do smoke from time to time
I'm unemployed
I love having sex everyday

If I can not hear ONE of those things I will be a happy man. It's always ONE of those things.

Well, the smoking thing would make me dump a gal also (and it has), but, most guys would love a gal who wants sex everyday

It wouldn't make me uncomfortable because majority of my friends are men. So that might have something to do with it. And a lot of times when you have woman and men with an opposite sex roommate, they normally see each other as a brother or sister.

Well, add my guy to that list! We're both waiting until marriage so he wouldn't like a girl like that. When we get married though... well than he'll probably fall into that category

I wasn't implying that there's anything wrong with it. I was just replying to the "think you are the only male on the face of the earth, that would not want to date a girl, who, likes..sex everyday" and agreeing with Solomon that not all men are the same. Each couple has their own ideas and beliefs. That is all I meant.
