I have seen a number of internet references that date the final Little House movie (was it The Last Farewell?), when Walnut Grove was destroyed, as taking place in 1901. Does anyone know why this is claimed? It is very obvious in the movie that it takes place more than a few years after the last season, which would put it in the 1880's.
