Default Pamela Ray

don't think this one is discussed much.

I'm guessing she thought the man worked for the motel and was going to give her a room, I can't imagine any other reason she sould leave her kids in the car.

Here is a link with some additional info.

http://www.angelfire.com/mi3/mpccn/pray.html

Interestingly, she left her keys and purse in the car. (?!)

Unfortunately, there's more reason to believe that she encountered foul play: the same man that was witnessed with her was also seen publically urinating earlier in the day, and also matched the description of someone that kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman earlier in the year.

unfortunately this looks like one of those cases where we are looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack. Not too many witnesses out in the pool area around 5:30a.m.
Also, I would love to see why they coulden't find the urinator.

the link mentions that Ray was spotted by 7 people, including 2 police officers. It mentions that one of the police officers underwent hypnosis in order to better remember details.

The link does also mention that Pamela was one of the people that helped her father illegally spend money that he obtained accidentially in a wire funds transfer. Pamela and her husband were indicted and released in 1992, although they don't believe this is connected to her disapperance.

Right, I read that too, and it also says that some potential witnesses heard a woman screaming in the vicinity of the pool. However either they did not investigate, or when they did, nobody was over there. So, if this guy committed some sort of crime against her, and he got away despite witnesses and hypnosis, then it would be extrodinarily difficult to find him now for questioning.

The recreation of thi swa stotal grabage. The production looked terrible and the actress portraying Pamela Ray looked like a harlot. I think it's unfortunate that UM didn't have the victim portrayed by a woman dressed a little less provacatively. Usually UM re-enactments are great to watch even if they were low budget in the early days. The re-0enactments gave the show much of its appeal.
