Default Your fave girl groups

The Chantels - A girl group from the 60's that had several hits. Awesome vocals.

The Shirelles - Another 60's girl group.

The Supremes - Quite obvious.

En Vogue - I wish this R&B group were still together recording music. The harmony was great and the individual voices were beautiful.

Destiny's Child - I hope to see the trio reunite soon for more albums and concerts.

Salt & Pepa - Yes, duos count as well. Although they did have Spinderella spinning the records so in essence, they are a trio.

TLC

The Marvelettes - Motown group.

The Pointer Sisters

Expose

Jade

Seduction

Blondie

The Waitresses

'til Tuesday

Technically they are not girl groups since all the members are not girls, but the lead singers are girls.

That's the only song by Banarama that I like. That is why I didn't mention them. I had to like two or more songs to include a group on my list.

actually, they're still around, they just haven't had a hit song in a good decade. My friend Tommy is still a huge fan of theirs and they've released a lot of independent material this decade, one of the original members has been replaced by a former MMC member (kind of sad when you consider she must've been a 10 year old performing En Vogue covers on MMC when the real En Vogue were all over the place.
