They've done this on the Benson board, and since The Munsters isn't a very long series (70 episodes), and this board needs some more activity, how would you all feel about maybe doing some 'episode discussions'?
Here's how it'd go....we could do maybe two episodes a week on Tuesday and Thursday, Monday and Friday, whatever....and I could start a 'Discussion thread' for the episode on each appointed day and we could talk about it. You could either watch the selected episode the night before the discussion or the day of, or if you've seen it enough just discuss it without watching. We could start from episode 1 and go through the whole series. What do you all think? |

That sounds interesting. I would participate. THE MUNSTERS was--and is--
one of my all-time favorite sit-coms, even though it only ran for two seasons. (Of course, back then a television season was much longer than today. ) |

Good to hear you'd be interested, tv star collector. We'd be watching them off DVDs of course...and I'm sure most Munster fans have the DVDs, since it's all out (even movies) and there were only two seasons.

Go for it! We're having some fun with it on the Benson board. I think Monika (catlover79) is going to get it going on the Barney Miller board as well.
It's fun to talk about specific episodes and some of the little things you notice, and these things aren't always easy to discuss in depth in random threads. I like the Munsters myself, so I may participate too. ![]()

That's great! The more, the merrier. If we can get a few more to agree, maybe we can get this going. Maybe have a discussion thread on Mondays and Fridays?

I'm doing one episode per week on the Benson board (I picked Thursdays). I figure that gives fair time for people to comment on that particular episode and it keeps the discussion going for a little while. With 70 total episodes, the board should be lively for quite awhile.
How about "Munster Mondays"? ![]() |
