A whole lot of nothing....

OK, Capt. Kate's first case as a detective 14 years earlier ended up in a death sentence for the suspect. Well, turns out he's going to be executed, and he hired some bigshot attorney to handle his final appeal. Big Shot Attorney asks Capt. America to review the case. So Kate reviews the case and eventually they find some discrepencies and find the real killer, so this guy is saved from the electric chair. As boring as this sounds, it was the most exciting thing going on this week. Capt. America had ended up turning the other way when her partner threw away some evidence and ignored phone calls from witnesses. So Angela (who, along with C.D., was helping with the case) tells Capt. America in not so many words that she screwed up. Well, the Capt. gives Angela some major stink-eye, but silently agreed. LAMENESS.

Moving on. C.D. and her husband. *Yawn*. C.D.'s hubby wants to get some action, but C.D. ain't giving it up. So he gets agressive, she gets cold, he argues, she accusses him of an affair, he confesses, she storms away, he apologizes, she ignores him, he gets really really agressive, she gets pinned down on the bed, he gets cold cocked. Eventually, C.D. goes to a shrink and talks about her rape, which seems to be what had been bothering her all week. LAMNESS SQUARED.

Magda and Jinny did something this week. It obviously wasn't very memorable, because I am drawing a complete blank. But I do remember - it was LAME. Oh yeah, Jinny got this icky haircut. She has these bangs like all the girls used to wear back in 1992. It looked bad.

So, as a fan of this show, I like to pretend that this episode never happened. Did this help?

You get a STANDING OVATION from me. I couldn't have put it better myself. I was at my great aunts house and I watched it with her and I APOLOGIZED after it went off cuz I was soooo ashamed that I made her sit through an hour of nothing. Teddy wasn't even in it. Darn Lifetime! Grrrr... We shall overcome!

B: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
J: Where'd you hear that?
B: It's on the plaque over there.

J: Tell Mrs. G we're out of mouthwash!
B: Well, if it isn't the kissing valedictorian.
J: Blair I have a sense of humor just like everybody else, but there are certain things in life we do not laugh at.
The Yankees and what Roy did to me. Never, are you ever to mention that!
T: He really planted one on you, didn't he?
N: Your face turned purple!
T: No oxygen!

God bless your every footstep,
