The classic comic strip, originally created by Hank Ketchum in 1951, ran in 16 newspapers and is now in over 1,000 papers worldwide in 48 countries! Nearly 30 years since his first appearance, the animated television series continued to follow the misadventures of the rambunctious five-year-old, Dennis Mitchell. Everywhere this lovable blond-haired, freckle-faced boy goes; his well-intentioned curiosity always seems to lead him into trouble, with next-door neighbor Mr. Wilson usually on the receiving end of his innocent mishaps. Also included in the fun are pals Joey McDonald, who considers Dennis to be the paragon of experience and wisdom; ex-girlfriend Margaret Wade whose impatience is always getting on Dennis’ nerves; and Gina Gillotti, the warm and charming tomboy who is the center of Dennis’ attention. Henry and Alice Mitchell, Dennis’ long suffering parents are often amused by his predicaments, but can only shake their heads and try to explain their son’s antics to others. In addition to the familiar characters the animated series introduces a new character, Winston, added to be an enemy and adversary to the group. Whether he’s chasing crooks in Venice or kangaroos in Sydney, outrunning Mayans in South America, or bulls in Spain – or even proving that erupting volcanoes in Hawaii wreak less havoc than he does, Dennis is always drawn to find trouble, wherever it is!

DENNIS IN VENICE

While visiting Venice, Dennis and Gina pursue the crooks that stole the Mona Lisa and while in their hideout, switch the fake and real paintings thus foiling the crooks' plans. After a wild gondola ride the crooks are caught and Dennis and Gina are honored.



MAYAN MAYHEM

Dennis and George Wilson take the wrong vacation plane and end up in South America, being pursued by Mayan natives. They have all kinds of wild adventures trying to get back home.



THE BIG CANDIED APPLE

The Mitchell's visit New York and when Dennis is let loose, the Statue of Liberty will never be the same!



A ROYAL PAIN

Dennis and his parents visit London's Buckingham Palace. Dennis runs amok and it's the worst crisis to hit England since the Blitz!



DENNIS AND THE KANGAROO CAVALRY

The Mitchells and the Wilsons visit Sydney, Australia just as wild kangaroos invade the city. Dennis and a local boy round up the kangaroos and guide them to safety.



DENNIS PLASTERS PAMPLONA

The Mitchell's visit Pamplona, Spain just before the running of the bulls, but Dennis accidentally releases the bulls a day earlier and Henry finds himself chased into a bull ring. He fights off hundreds of bulls, becoming the greatest matador of all time.



BLACK AND BLUE HAWAII

Just as the Mitchell's pay a visit to Hawaii, a volcano erupts. Dennis helps stop the eruption, but only after causing all kinds of his own devastation.
