I really could care less about the FOL reunion whether or not Nancy is in it, mostly because I have yet to see a reunion of a tv show that lived up to the show's legacy. I'll watch it, but forgive me if I don't get my hopes up.
On the other hand, it has already been established that Alex Rocco with play Jinny's father, but what would people think if others from FOL appeared on The Division in one-time character roles. Not necessarily at the same time (although I loved the George&Leo episode a few years back with Judd Hirsh and Bob Newhart and they had several people from their past shows (Hirsh-Taxi, Dear John; Newhart-BNS, Newhart) in one episode. I'm not sure something like that would work, but I would love to see how the actresses interacted in a different setting. I would much rather see that then a FOL reunion. One idea, my dad works with compulsive gamblers who many are alcoholics too (the addictions run together so its not unusual that Jinny has two addictions) and it usually happens that the meetings or something else such as religion becomes the new addiction to replace the old addiction. Maybe Lisa could come in somewhere in this role. It wouldn't compromise her religious beliefs and we get to see them together again!! I've rambled enough and I do have an ECON test to study for so does anyone else have any thoughts on this? |

I really like your idea regarding Lisa. Even though Nancy seems to invite Alex who was really only a guest star on maybe 10 FOL episodes to play her father on her movies and her other tv series, having Lisa who was her co-star on Facts on "The Division" might be a little bit too close for someone who seems to want to totally break out of the Jo role. Unfortunately, I doubt we'll ever see it.
I have to admit, though, the thought has crossed my mind to come up with characters for Kim, Mindy, Lisa, and Charlotte on "The Division." I could see Kim Fields playing one of the inspector parts especially after reading several interviews indicating Lela Rochon Fuqua may only be on the series for a year or two. Gotta go to work...maybe I'll think of some other characters our FOL girls could play on "The Division." [This message has been edited by Michele35 (edited 02-14-2001).] |

Michele-I don't know if you saw Nancy's interview on The View or not, but when one of the women asked her if she thought it was an honor to be thought of as Jo, and she said yes. I don't think she wants to totally break out of the Jo role, I just think she wants to let people know that, while Jo was a great character, that's not who she really is; that she can play people with different attitudes, different problems, and such. I think that Nancy may want to have Lisa on an episode, because, just like Nancy, Lisa is NOT Blair, and she CAN play different parts. Sorry for blabbing on and on, but I haven't quite mastered the art of saying a lot in just a little bit of writing. ![]() |

I think it would be totally awsome if the girls from FOL could be guest stars on "The Divison" and I love ya'lls idea about Lisa.

On one episode of "Can't Hurry Love" (Nancy's short-lived sitcom)Charlotte Rae guest starred, and that was only a few years ago. I doubt that any of them would guest star on the division, though.

It would be totally awesome if the FOL girls guest starred on The Division, especially Lisa. I'd like to see Lisa and Nancy together again. ^.^
------------------ Blair: I can't believe this! My parents are spending a fortune so I can get frostbite! Nat: It's not that bad. Blair: Maybe not to you, but a Warner is like a delicate souffle. Jo: Yeah, light and empty. Captain: Didn't you ever have a dog, Jinny? Jinny: I had a plant once. It didn't make it. |
