Ah, this is an unfair question. There are so many episodes of Please Don't Eat the Daisies that I love I find it hard to narrow it down to just one. Usually when I watch a 60's sitcom I expect some sort of social statement, and Please Don't Eat the Daisies is no exception. However the episode that really stands out in my mind is one of the few episodes where the Nashes are not putting down authority, an episode that is just good old fashion entertainment. It is episode #18 "Say Uncle" (01/11/66) where the twins think that dad is secret agent. I guess the reason I love this one so much is due to the fact that I also love 60's secret agent movies and TV shows, and Man from UNCLE is another favorite of mine. The real killer is at the end when the boys meet Robert Vaughn (Napoleon Solo), and there is a "Man From UNCLE" style of fade out (Hope I haven't spoiled this episode for anyone who has not seen it yet). Cross overs can be a real drag when you mixed two shows that have nothing to do with each other, however this one is a good blend of children's imaginations and two great TV shows. Thanx for asking! PEACE, Roanld G. Lapp. |

I think the twins were adorable, so I especially liked the episode "We May Be Bigger Than They Are, But...." It was all about the twins confusing the family and their teachers about which one was which. I also really enjoyed the episode in which Joan performed in a show singing "Queen of the House" to the tune of "King of the Road."

Episode #6 Look Whos Talking. A funny twist on a classic comic situation. Non stop laughs, from the beginning to end of the episode.

I'd have to say #6 Look who's talking as well as #55 When I was a young man.
As to another post, when did Joan sing Queen of the House? I don't remember that one at all! |
