Default USA Network

Has this ever really been an interesting channel? Is there anything notable that has aired in the past? We've always had it but I've never really watched it or cared to.....the only thing interesting I remember is they showed Carol Burnett in 2000 or sometime around then.

The schedule looks like it's mostly Law and Order repeats, Walker Texas Ranger, and movies. And Coach, of all shows, airing sporadically.

Thanks!

I wish I were old enough to have watched this channel back in the day when they had variety, especially in the '80's through 1995 (I got cable for the first time in '95). They had stuff for everyone. Sports, sitcoms, soaps, game shows, drama, cartoons. Seemed like a blast. Now the variety is out the window.

Coach is underplayed and needs to get some marathons or at least air regularly in a decent time.

I used to watch USA a lot in the '90s. My favorites were WWF Raw Is War, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess, Baywatch, Pacific Blue, The Facts Of Life, Gimme A Break, Martin, and Saved By The Bell: The New Class. I also remember they used to air John Ritter's Heart's Affire.

Now all I watch on there is RAW and Law & Order: SVU.

When I was in my early teens, USA used to be great. I could watch reruns of Wings, and on Friday nights, I'd stay up late and watch Duckman and Weird Science The Series.

Now, I never stop and watch USA. If they played Coach at a better hour (when I'm not getting ready for work, working, or sleeping), I'd watch that.

Usa used to have a great morning line-up called "USAM" which consisted of old sitcoms like The Facts Of Life, Just The Ten Of Us, Wings, Gimme A Break and on occasion they aired shows like Something So Right... it was great

I remember when they used to say "You're watching USA Network ... the cure for the common show" to start a commercial break ten years ago.

I remember growing up in the early 80's and watching the USA cartoon express on Sunday mornings and weekdays cartoons like Huck. Hound and the sort.
In the late 80's maybe early 90's I remember watching Double Trouble and in the 90's they had great variety of shows even going as far to show My Sister Sam as well as the others that have already been listed.

I only watch now to catch the "new" L&O: CI on Thurs. or an episode or L&O: SVU that I missed on Tues. night.

I am not sure if it has always been an affiliate/owned by NBC but it seems that lately NBC is the owner and would rather show its only long running hit maker drama Law & Order SVU and throw in the occasional CI just to mix things up a bit. IMO their original shows like Psych/Monk are worthless garbage and lost their appeal quicker then stale reruns of L&O SVU. I would not be suprise if by the end of season 3 of Heroes that USA does not have Heroes added to its schedule as well, since it was/is doing well for NBC.

Of course Bravo is another NBC affiliate and they show L&O: CI on weekends like crazy.

N@N is the Fresh Prince channel and USA is the L&O...Could any channel please understand the meaning of change/diversity.
