Jessica Biel is reportedly in talks to play Wonder Woman, though not in the long gestating stand-alone feature focusing on the DC Comics favorite.
According to Variety, Biel may be Wonder Woman in the fast-tracked Warner Bros. "Justice League of America" film. The news of Biel's negotiations for the role is the first casting report to come out of the "JLA" film since it was announced last week that "Happy Feet" Oscar winner George Miller was in place to direct. Based on the popular popular DC ensemble line, the "Justice League of America" film will reportedly feature the characters of Superman, Batman, the Flash and Aquaman, though the big screen's most recent Caped Crusader and Man of Steel -- Christian Bale and Brandon Routh -- aren't expected to be involved. Warner Bros. has been hoping to mount a "Wonder Woman" movie for years, but never got past the stage of casting rumors even during Joss Whedon's long association with the project. The Joel Silver-produced film could now find a backdoor into casting with Variety raising the possibility that the "JLA" version of the invisible jet-flying Amazon could then go on to a spin-off movie. The studio hopes to get production on "Justice League" rolling before a possible guild strike. The 25-year-old Biel was most recently seen in the summer hit "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" and the spring dud "Next." She's got "Powder Blue" and "A Woman of No Importance" on tap. http://www.variety.com/VR1117972674.html

I read that and I have my doubts as to if she'll be able to pull it off.

Megan Fox could pull this off better than Jessica can.

I've read posts by people on IMDb who think Christy Carlson Romano(who's too thin), Anneliese van der Pol(who's too short), Anne Hathaway(who's in the same positions as CCR) and a few others should've got the role instead.

I just don't see Biel having the presence to play WW. Jessica Alba maybe. Charisma Carpenter definately, and plus with her associations with Buffy/Angel, Charmed and Veronica Mars, she has widespread "fanboy" appeal, which is much needed for a movie like this. 7th Heaven doesn't exactly have the same popularity with the fanboy crowd as the other shows that Charisma has been on.
Here's Charisma ![]() Here's Wonder Woman ![]() I think Charisma, or Jessica Alba, fits this better than the blonde Jessica Beil. |

How about don't put this on the big screen, I don't want Hollywood messing up any more classics!

Keep in mind folks that this JLA movie is going to be CG, using motion capture techniques used in Polar Express, so I guess this menas we'll have animated versions of the actors.
