Default Pilates Twist episode chat...

Glad to have seen this episode. I missed it the first time around and I didn't have time to watch it online.

When Davis referenced Pilates as being "the guy who killed Jesus" I lost it. The look on his face as he said it, he seriously thought Pilates was actually Pontious Pilate.

Brent telling Hank: "I'll see you at practice." Hank was so worried abt what people thought abt him and Brent wearing identical shirts.

Oscar and his wanting to build a better coffin than the one he saw. That storyline was hilarious.

oh thats right, i forgot that was the "shirt team" episode!

Brent and Hank:
"Brent , we cant both wear the same shirt, people will think were on some kind of team......"

Hank Yarbo: [Brent and Hank are wearing the same shirt] Look at us, we're identical!
Brent LeRoy: We're not identical, I have different pants than you.
Hank Yarbo: Yeah, I don't even wanna get into your pants.
Brent LeRoy: You're not gonna with that kinda whining.

I know that was so damn funny. I just abt lost it there too. I mean, these quick sarcastic remarks, it has to be quiet around here for me to watch CG because I might not hear the remarks.

A good point, it would be difficult to catch all the nuances and little assides if this show had a laugh track, dont you think?
Funny thing, last night I watched "Ruby Reborn" ( first ep. ) for about the 100th time ( on DVD ) and, i noticed Lacey waiting for Brent to pay her for the coffee as he walks away, telling her " If this guy doesnt buy $1.50 worth of gas, i'll have to owe you for the coffee!" Well, I've seen the scene all those times, but, this time i noticed Lacey holding out her hand waiting futily for payment , then watched the expression on her face change subtlely to one of disgust.......by this time the camera was quite far , you can barey see it..but, the fact that Gabby even bothered to change expressions is indicative of the care that the actors put into this show; and how you can always see new things , even 5 years later!

Just like I Love Lucy, a show I have watched since I was 6 years old. 36 years later I am catching little things here and there, and also, the fans on the ILL board are informing me of things I never knew or noticed.

Let me say, a little bit of Emma came out of me today (well, ask my boyfriend and he will say me and Lacey have some resemblence, but me and Emma are IDENTICAL TWINS when it comes to personality ). Anyhoo, my boyfriend was commenting abt the day he dies, and he said, "If I die..." and I said right back to him, "IF????" and he said, "I swear, you sound like that lady on Corner Gas." Gotta love Emma. She is my fave!
