Default Fast food and it's impact!!!

Ok, so we all know the deal with many fast food restaurants and how bad it is for you and all that. But I usually love to "treat" myself once in a blue. I think it's ok as long as you eat in moderation. Anyway, I'm curious as to what is everyone's favorite fast food store and what is your "usual"?! Mine would have to be the ever-so-famous MickeyD's and I always get either a #1(Big Mac meal) or #2(Two cheesburger meal) with a Rasberry Iced-Tea. Hehe!! I would say Dairy Queen but NYC doesn't have any DQ's and that sucks!! When I lived in Nevada, I loooved going to the DQ.

I agree - I don't think there's anything wrong if you eat it only once in a while. I work second shift and I don't feel like cooking, so I usually visit the drive thru about 3 times a week - which is too much. Plus it gets expensive after awhile. So I am going to try to cut back.

I just ate a Wataburger double meat paddy. I'd say aside from subs, wataburger is my favorite.

I have seriously cut back on my fast food intake. But I was hungry and tired and wataburger is right down the way. It was a weak moment. But thus far, I don't regret it.

I was being sarcastic, I've been to McDonalds more times than I care to remember but at no time has anyone said Welcome to Mickey D's, May I take your order? Going there was an important part of my childhood but I don't care much for burgers anymore so If I go now, I usually get a salad and a diet soda.

The local McDonalds at home has been open since May.

Since then, On at least TWO DOZEN occasions I've tried to get a milkshake, McFlurry, what have you.

Only ONCE was I able to successfully get one. All the rest of the time the machine was "broken". (Though I've learned over the years that a lot of times if, especially later at night, they say they're out or something's broken, half the time it's just because they don't like fixing that item)

At least the McDonalds around here isn't the only one that uses that excuse.

I'm trying to cut back on my fast food intake...it's really no good (even though I love the stuff), so I try and get a salad or chicken sandwich when I get the craving for it. McDonalds' salads are actually really tasty...I'm addicted to them

That was an enjoyable experience, but alas, we have none of them up here. Or Jack in the Box. Tried them both when I was in Texas.

Last time I ate at Jack in the box I found a wod of what appeared to be animal hair in one of the burgers.

I haven't been able to bring myself to eat at one of those establishments since.

Plus, Jack is just creepy in his commercials(ie kidnapping foreign women)
