Post Fanfiction-Goodbye from the Beginning-Please Read!!!!!!!!

Hey people..I decided to make my own final episode of Facts of Life..It is called "Goodbye from the Beginning"..there are 2 parts of it..tell me what you think of the first part so far! The second part will be up soon! I hope you like it!

Title: Goodbye from the Beginning Part 1
Setting: The Kitchen..Beverly Ann is out for the day and Pippa and Andy went out with a couple of friends. Tootie, Blair, and Jo are sitting at the kitchen table playing cards.

Blair: Do we not have anything else better to do than play the same game of cards we do every day?

Jo: Blair either stop complaining or just leave ok?

Tootie: This game is no fun without Nat here.

Blair: Tootie, this game was never fun.

Tootie: Well you used to think it was fun back when Mr. Bradley was the headmaster!

Blair: Tootie..I'd hate to break it to you--but that was 9 years ago. Things change.

(Beverly Ann walks into the kitchen with a bunch of shopping bags)

Beverly Ann: Hello everybody..I'm back!

Blair: Woah! Beverly Ann I must commend you! I never saw you with so many shopping bags in one day!

Beverly Ann: Well..there were alot of sales..I couldn't resist myself.

Blair: That's the way to think!

Jo: (Roles eyes)

Tootie: I think I am gonna go call Nat. (Walks out of room into living room)

(Someone knocks on the door)

Blair: I'll get it. (Walks to door and opens it. There is a police man.) Um..can I help you?

Officer: Yes..do you have any relation to the Eastland School for Girls?

Blair: Yes..we do..why?

Officer: That school caught fire early this morning.

Blair: Was anyone in it?!

Officer: No.

Blair: Thank heavens..(Beverly Ann walks to door)

Beverly Ann: What is the problem?

Officer: The Eastland School for Girls had been burnt down. Nobody was in it. The Headmaster of the school said that the school is so burnt down that he wants to totally abandon it.

Blair: What?! He can't do that!

Officer: It was his orders. He officially quit his position of Headmaster.

Blair: How could he do that?!

Beverly Ann: Officer, is that all?

Officer: Yes. I'll be going now. Have a nice day. (Beverly Ann shuts the door and her and Blair go into kitchen.)

Jo: What's the matter?

Blair: Eastland caught fire..the Headmaster quit and he wants to completely abandon it!

Jo: What?! After all these years?

Blair: Yes! I have to do something about it somehow.

Jo: Blair..I don't think there's anything you CAN do! Well..it isn't that I wanna see Eastland go down the tube..but what can you do?

Blair: I don't know yet..but that was where I grew up in and I am going to do something! (Walks out of kitchen)

Jo: (Sigh) Now wha...ugh....

Beverly Ann: What's wrong?

Jo: Nothing..its just that suddenly I don't feel to good. I feel dizzy..like I am gonna throw up..

Beverly Ann: Oh dear..maybe I should call the doctor. (they both walk out of the kitchen and Tootie comes in)

Tootie: GUESS WHAT?! NATALIE IS COMING BACK TO VISIT!..Hey..where did everyone go?

(2 Hours later. Blair visits the headmaster at his home.)

Headmaster: Ah..Blair Warner. The wealthy snotty girl?

Blair: Yes..that would be me. I have a big problem with you.

Headmaster: What could that problem be?

Blair: You just abandoning the school and quitting your job. That isn't right! After all these years..just because of ONE fire you desert the school. Don't you care?

Headmaster: Not really. Well there isn't anything we can do about it. Do you know how much money it would cost to repair it back to like it use to be?

Blair: That isn't the point! If you wanted Eastland bad you would put effort into it. Like you said--you don't even CARE!

Headmaster: Listen--if you care about Eastland so much, you take over. Now please leave me home

Blair: (Sighs and leaves and goes home)

(Half an hour later. Blair is sitting at the kitchen table alone thinking of what to do. Jo and Beverly Ann walk in slowly, looking slightly excited.)

Jo: Blair..I have something to tell you.

Blair: I don't need anymore bad news.

Jo: No..it isn't bad. I'm pregnant.

Blair: Oh my god...seriously?

Jo: Yes..seriously.

Blair: Oh..I thought it would never happen!

Jo: Watch it Warner..I can still give some fist.

Beverly Ann: Now, now, now, don't fight. This is a happy time!

Blair: Not for me..

(3 Days later. Someone knocks on the door)

Tootie: I'll get it. (Opens Door) NAT!!!

Natalie: Tootie!! (Walks into kitchen) Hey people! Blair where's Jo?

Blair: Upstairs..she's pregnant.

Natalie: Really?!

Blair: Yeah..but there is more news your not gonna like very much. Eastland burnt to the ground. The headmaster quit and he wants to abandon it.

Natalie: Oh god..well where's Jo?

Blair: Upstairs.

(Natalie goes upstairs and finds Jo)

Natalie: Hey Jo! I heard you were pregnant!

Jo: Yupp! I just wish Rick would come back from the military or wherever he is..I keep loosing track. (They both giggle)

(Tootie and Blair are sitting at the kitchen table)

Tootie: Well now we are all here once again!

Blair: Well obviously Eastland isn't. I dunno what to do about it!

Tootie: Blair..Eastland may not be here, but it is always in our hearts--think of it that way.

Blair: I would, but I know theres someting I can do! I just don't know what that is yet..

-End of Part One-
