'The O.C.' Mom Engaged to Billionaire - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

The O.C." may be over for Kelly Rowan, but she's not done with associating with the wealthy yet.

Tbe actress just became engaged to Canadian billionaire David Thomson, reports People.

Rowan, 41, is an Ottawa-born actress who met Thomson, 50, in Toronto while she was working there last year. According to Forbes, Thomson is the richest man in Canada and the tenth wealthiest in the world. He was married once before and has three children from that marriage.

Rowan is best recognized as Kirsten Cohen, the mom to Adam Brody and wife to Peter Gallagher's characters, on "The O.C." She also starred in and executive produced the Lifetime movie "In God's Country."

Currently, she's producing the film "Blithe" in Virgina with the help of her "O.C." co-star Melinda Clarke.
