I promise I'll reply as soon as I read them all! I haven't had enough time to read any of the ones you've posted in the past two weeks, I just saved them in my favorite places. Luckily, tomorrow's my last day of school before break and I'll read them on Thursday or Friday. So far my favorite is the one where Jo thinks she's pregnant, but that's mostly because you said it was modeled after the "Look Before You Leap" episode of L&S. But I've loved all of them! You're SUCH a talented writer! I've been working on an FOL script but I'm so used to writing L&S fanfic that I actually had Lenny and Squiggy burst in! I erased that, though, LoL. Anyway, keep the scripts comin'!

It's toughing it out... here is my new and revamped version of it.... it's basically the same just a few new lines added here and few new things added there and i SPELL CHECKED IT!!!!!!! Aren't you proud of me?? It was easy since i basically copied my old version... the reason i wanted to knwo what your fave ep was was becuase i am writing charlotte rae and im gonna send her my script and see what she thinks... hopefully I will get a response to it!! I am using this script that will be on this message... so that is why i spell check it... enjoy!!

---Cafeteria----

Natalie and Kim: (walk into cafeteria)
Mrs. G: Hi Natalie and Natalie's friend!
Nat: Oh Mrs. Garret this is Kimberly, and Kim this is Mrs. Garrett!
Kim: (shakes Mrs. Gs hand) Hi, I prefer Kim, when people call me Kimberly I feel like I'm in trouble!
Mrs. G: (laughs) That's a nice jacket you have there... what does Babydoll mean?
Kim: Oh, it's my nickname!
Nat: Isn't that neat? Kim just transferred her... she comes from the Bronx like Jo!
Mrs. G: Oh, so why did you transfer to Eastland?
Kim: There are a lot of gangs in our neighborhood and my mother wanted me away from it... she's over protective...
Mrs. G: Oh, well I probably would have done the same thing (shrugs shoulders) Natalie the other girls are waiting for you in the kitchen, its almost dinner time!
Nat: ok, Kim I'll see you tomorrow
Kim: yup! (leaves) bye!
Nat: (walks into kitchen) isn't she nice Mrs. Garrett?
Mrs. G: (follows Natalie) yes, but it must have been hard growing up in a tough neighborhood full of street gangs... its scares me to think of what it would be like!
Jo: what's so scary about it? my neighborhood's full of gangs and I'm still here...
Blair: yea, but you not welcome!
Jo: you wanna say that again!! (puts fist in front of Blair's face)
Blair: No! (says in fear but in a snobbish way)
Mrs. G: Girls! Girls! No blood shed in the kitchen, now start making dinner!! (points at counter where there is vegetables)
Nat: But Mrs. Garrett, the gangs haven't changed her… she's really nice!
Mrs. G: (grabs lettuce off of counter and gets 2 knives from a drawer) Nat that's great, but we have to get going come on start slicing (hands a knife to Nat and chops lettuce)
Nat: Shouldn't we have other people to do this?
Mrs. G: Yea! You! (starts chopping lettuce)
Nat: Haven't we suffered enough!
Tootie: Yea! You work us to the bone!
Mrs. G: I hardly call helping make dinner between the 5 of us working you to the bone!
Blair: Just one day off! (goes to Mrs. G and kinda hugs her a little in a kissing up way) Please! (makes a puppy dog face)
Mrs. G: Sure!
Jo: Really??
Mrs. G: Yea! (pauses) When I get my day off!! Sleep… Sleep… it's a wonderful dream!
Tootie: Jermaine… Jermaine… it's a wonderful dream! Especially when we're stuck in a closet! (smiles thinking about it)
Nat: (laughs and gets back to chopping lettuce) or Rick Springfield!
Tootie: Right!!

----In Class----

Teacher: (talking in the front of the classroom)
Kim: (turns around in desk to talk to Natalie) Hey Natalie, will you come to the Chug-A-Lug bar with me tonight?
Nat: It's a school night, we have to be in by 10 and besides we're not old enough to get in..
Kim: Oh (pauses) Well I'm meeting some friends outside at 11, if you want to come meet me in the cafeteria at 10:30 ok?
Nat: Ok!! I'll see if Mrs. Garrett will be in her room by then… I might be able to sneak out.
Teacher: Kimberly! Natalie! Please pay attention!
Kim: (turns around in chair)
Teacher: (goes back to talking to the class)
Kim: (writes in her notebook, "I'll be in the cafeteria at 10:30, please come! I want you to help me out" then hands it to Natalie)
Nat: (grabs note and reads it, then writes "Help you out?? With what?" and hands it to Kim)
Kim: (writes, "Well, we want you to be in our group!" hands it to Nat)
Nat: (writes, "Group?" and hands it to Kim)
Kim: (writes, "Yea! Like Blair, Jo, and Tootie are your group of friends. These are my friends" hands it to Kim)
Teacher: (sees the girls passing notes) Natalie! Read! (points to letter)
Nat: (opens it and reads) Yea! Like Blair, Jo, and Tootie are your group of friends. These are my friends!
Teacher: (sighs and puts hand out for note)
Nat: (gives note to teacher and looks at Kim and whispers) Sure, I'll meet you!
Teacher: (walks to garbage and throws it in) Now where were we?? (ponders) Oh yes…

---Cafeteria----

Nat: (walks in) Hey Jo... what's up?
Jo: you know your new friend Kim?
Nat: Yea what about her?
Jo: she used to live in my neighborhood before they tried to put her in a rehab center...
Nat: what do you mean a rehab center? (confused)
Jo: She ran away before they got her though…
Nat: (still confused)
Mrs. G: (walks in the cafeteria with head buried in a letter and Jo doesn't see that she's in the room)
Jo: She was in a gang and I think she still is, she had to be in a rehab center cuz the caught her in school with drugs, the gangs drugs I bet!
Nat: (shocked look)
Mrs. G: (takes glasses off and looks up from letter at Jo and Nat)
Jo: Look Nat, just stay away from Kim... she'll try to get you in the gang... and to get in it you gotta let all of them beat you till you almost die! (makes it sound especially scary) Look they're dangerous!!
Nat: (gasps in shock)
Mrs. G: Jo are you saying that Kim is in a street gang?!?! The people that do the graffiti?
Jo: (quickly turns around startled at Mrs. G's presence) yea... I'm pretty sure
Mrs. G: Natalie, stay away form her!! I don't want you getting into trouble with her, got it! (orders Natalie and walks past to set up table clothes)
Nat: (thinks to self, kinda taps foot and then follows Mrs. Garrett) Mrs. Garrett, Kim wanted me to sneak out tonight and meet her "friends" at the chug-a-lug bar... I'm supposed to meet her in here at 10:30 what do I do!?!?
Mrs. G: you'll meet her... but with me (points to self) there too!! (says angrily and puts hands on hips) I have some things I'd like to ask her (grabs table clothes and hands them to Nat and Jo) now help me out please! (takes a table clothe and puts it on table)
Nat: (grabs table clothes) Mrs. Garrett I really don't want to talk to her... I can't believe she was going to bring me there and let them hurt me!!
Mrs. G: Well I'm sure there's a good reason for it (says aloud and then says to self) I don't know what it is but...
Jo: (interrupts) I know what the reason is... every member has to get 2 new people to join before the end of the year and I guess she thought Nat was a good card to play...
Mrs. G: (stops with table clothe, thinks to self, then goes back to them) Well, I don't think she'll be playing bridge anytime soon!
Nat: (Sits on a chair and confused)
Jo: Nat don't worry! We won't let Kim hurt you!
Nat: No, it's not that! I am worried about her getting hurt!
Mrs. G: Let me just talk to her about it! Maybe I can convince her to get out of the gang!
Jo: And let them beat her up for it? (shakes head no) No, no, no! They'd probably put her in a wheelchair for life!
Mrs. G: (thinks to self) hmm… Wheelchair for life or in jail for life? (uses hands as if scales)
Blair: (walks in and sets books on Mrs. Garrett's hand that she was using for scales) Oh thanks Mrs. Garrett! (books fall on the floor)
Mrs. G: (bends down to pick the books up) No problem Blair! (hands books to Blair)
Blair: Where's Kim?
Nat: Why do you need to talk to her?
Blair: She was going to help me with Pre Calc.
Jo: (walks to Blair) Oh uh Blair! I'll help you!
Blair: Sure you'll help me! Right off the F end of the alphabet!
Jo: No! No! I'm serious!
Blair: If I fail this midterm you are in trouble! (starts go walk toward kitchen)
Jo: Sure Blair! (sarcastic) Sure! (follows Blair)

Mrs. G: (sitting in the dark at a table waiting for Kim)
Kim: (walks in and turns lights on) Natalie? (sees Mrs. Garrett instead of Nat) oh hi Mrs. Garrett!! Just came for a midnight snack!
Mrs. G: Hi Kimberly (smiles unhappily and gets up) Come all the way here from the dorms fully dressed?
Kim: Well… (thinks for an excuse) I didn't want to freeze to death! It is winter!
Mrs. G: No! I thought all that white stuff outside was sand! (sarcastic)
Kim: Natalie told you everything didn't she?
Mrs. G: Yea... and Jo filled me in on the rest!!
Nat: (walks in from hallway by kitchen without being noticed by Mrs. G or Kim)
Kim: Mrs. Garrett look, I can explain everything!
Nat: Would you mind explaining it to me first?
Mrs. G: (startled by Nat) Nat I thought you didn't want to talk to Kim?
Kim: Look Mrs. Garrett... I don't want any trouble... I didn't think Jo would remember me… but obviously she did (starts walking out)
Nat: Kim wait!!
Kim: (turns around) what!! (getting impatient)
Nat: If I would have gone with you what would have happened to me?
Kim: (looks at floor)
Nat: I would have this morning's news and tomorrows 5 o'clock shadow... wouldn't I!?!?
Kim: Maybe... (still looks at floor)
Nat: I have to sit down (sits at a table)
Mrs. G: Kimberly how can you be involved in this gang... aren't you sick of all of the drugs and the violence!?!?
Kim: Look these people are my friends!! (gets offensive) they take care of me!! (shouts)
Mrs. G: The same people who will hurt you... rape you and even get you into trouble... (disappointed look on face) oh I wish I had friends like you've got!! (says sarcastically)
Kim: They wouldn't do that to me!!! (shouts back0
Mrs. G: But if they'd do it to Natalie... why not to you Kimberly?! Why not you!? They could and they will!! (shouts)
Kim: (gets angry) So what!! Its my life!!
Mrs. G: Your right Kimberly it is your life... but do you want to live your life or end your life!?! (kind of comforts Kim by putting hand on her shoulder) If you don't get out of this gang they'll probably get you into trouble with the law or this school or even get you killed!! (says kinda loud yet comforting in a way)
Kim: Ok...(gets annoyed) so I'll get out! ( says kinda like yea your right)
Mrs. G: Good!! Kimberly we may not know you very well, but we want you to stick around long enough to get to know you!!! I'm sure there's a great person under all that hostility! And you seem very special... (smiles)
Kim: Ok, I'm going... to tell them I am not Babydoll anymore!! (takes jacket off and throws it in the garbage then leaves)
Mrs. G: Now there goes one brave girl!! (smiles and says) come on Natalie, lets go to bed!
Nat: I cant sleep...
Mrs. G: well I'm beat so I'm going to bed…
Nat: Bed???
Mrs. G: Yea (pauses) The flat, fluffy thing in my room that I sleep on when I'm tired!!
Nat: Oh yea… that thing!
Mrs. G: yea! That thing!! (sits down next to Natalie) What's wrong?
Nat: Nothing! (edgy) What makes you think something's wrong?
Mrs. G: Because you don't say nothing when you're fine!
Nat: well this is the one time it's the truth!
Mrs. G: are you sure?
Nat: Yes! Go to bed!!
Mrs. G: Ok… (doesn't believe Nat but leaves anyway)
Nat: (sits at a table and looks weird and afraid)

---Cafeteria----

Mr. Parker: Edna can I talk to you?
Mrs. G: Sure! what is it Mr. Parker? (Ironing some table clothes or something)
Mr. Parker: Do you know Kimberly Whelching?
Mrs. G: (stops and looks at Mr. Parker) Yes... (pauses) why? (has worrying in her voice)
Mr. Parker: well, there is no easy way to say this but, (pauses) last night a street gang beat her… (pauses) badly...
Mrs. G: (shocked and puts had over her mouth) how bad?!? (walks around the ironing board to where Mr. Parker is standing by a table)
Mr. Parker: Edna... (pauses) she's dead... (kinda looks away from Mrs. Garrett)
Mrs. G: (gasps in shock and sits down at the table)
Nat: Hey Mrs. Garrett!! Mr. Parker!! (walks over to table where Mrs. G is sitting and sets books down)
Mr. Parker: Well, I'll be leaving now (leaves)
Mrs. G: (gets up and goes back to the ironing board and grabs a table cloth and folds it with back kinda toward Nat)
Nat: wonder why Kim wasn't in class today...
Tootie: (walks in) School was very interesting today…
Jo: (walks in with Tootie) Yea, I heard so many rumors flying around about Kim...
Nat: Like what?
Mrs. G: (sets folded tablecloth on table and folds ironing board up and walks into kitchen with it)
Jo: I heard she got beat up by a gang last night...
Tootie: I heard they killed her!!
Nat: WHAT!!
Mrs. G: (walks back into the cafeteria and past the girls and starts to put folded tablecloth on table)
Blair: (walks in) You wouldn't believe some of the things I've heard about Kim today!
Nat: Ok that's it!! why are they're so many rumors going around her that aren't true!
Mrs. G: Natalie they're not rumors... (straightens table cloth and doesn't look up at Nat)
Nat: What!?! (shock and sad)
Mrs. G: (turns around and puts hands on Natalie's shoulders) Natalie... Kimberly was beat really bad by her, so called friends...
Nat: Mrs. Garrett, how bad!! (angrily)
Mrs. G: she's dead (looks down while saying it then looks at Natalie)
Nat: Mrs. Garrett...!!! (starts to whimper and kinda fall back a little)
Mrs. G: Natalie... calm down… (holds onto Natalie so she wont fall) It'll be ok!
Nat: That could've been me last night!!
Jo: but it wasn't!!
Mrs. G: Look, she tried to get out of the gang and they must have beat her for it... (look of panic)
Blair: They killed her?!?
Mrs. G: Girls, I know this is really hard to deal with, death is hard to deal with (turns to Natalie) Natalie, I am proud of you!! (smiles)
Nat: For what!?!
Mrs. G: for telling me that she wanted you to go with her last night and for deciding not to go!!
Nat: yea… thanks (says sarcastically and leaves to go into the kitchen)
Mrs. G: (weird look)
Tootie: What wrong with her?
Mrs. G: I don't know... girls will you put the napkins on the tables please?
Jo: Sure!
Mrs. G: (walks into kitchen)

---Kitchen---
Mrs. G: Natalie I know its hard to deal with death... so if you need somebody to talk to, I'm always here!! (smiles)
Nat: thanks Mrs. Garrett
Mrs. G: (turns around and starts to walk out)
Nat: Mrs. Garrett...
Mrs. G: (turns around) Yea?
Nat: I need somebody to talk to...
Mrs. G: Ok talk... (walks back to Natalie)
Nat: Mrs. Garrett it's all my fault!!
Mrs. G: what do you mean?
Nat: If I wouldn't have told you about Kim's plan, you wouldn't have changed her mind into quitting and then they wouldn't have... (nods head) well you know... hurt her (pauses) and then she wouldn't have died!! (shouts and then rest hands on counter)
Mrs. G: Natalie... This isn't your fault!! Nor mine... look, even if she wouldn't have gone there last night or even tried to get out, they probably would have still hurt her, that's what gangs do! They use you to get stuff, then they kill you... (gets mad)
Nat: (sighs and then turns back to Mrs. Garrett)
Mrs. G: Natalie... its was Kimberly who joined the gang and it was Kimberly who suffered from the gang... we just tried to help her, but it was too late...
Nat: Yea, I guess your right... but why did they have to kill her?
Mrs. G: It's a cruel world out there!! The things we teach you now will hopefully prepare you for it! But there are still so many things that we can't explain! So many things we have to teach you besides what's in those textbooks! Life isn't always easy and sometimes it may throw you off your horse… but you have to get back on!
Nat: thanks Mrs. Garrett, but I don't think I can talk anymore..
Mrs. G: ok... you'll have a hurting heart for a while but remember your friends... they are always here for you!! (smiles)
