Question Calorie Counting Help!!

This is mainly a question for those who are very familiar with calorie counting. I need help, please!!

I just started counting calories so that I can get to my ideal weight. My total consumed calories has been set to 902! I am coming into some difficulty especially for dinner time and evening snacks because I tend to have have run out of enough calories before the evening to get a decent meal and/or snack.

I noticed that once I put in my workout information into my chart, my calorie intake increases to 1,300 more calories I can consume for the day! That sounds nice, but will that defeat the purpose of obtaining my original 902 set calories to be consumed in a given day? Wouldn't the 1,300 extra calories after working out mess up my goal to lose the weight to get to my ideal goal in an x amount of weeks? I don't get this.

I am freaking out because I want to make this as steady without interruption so that I can get to my goal? I want to make sure this is going to be steady to get to my goal without having to fluctuate back and forth.

Also, what is the difference between calories and net calories? The online definitions are no good to me. They're all different. So, I am freaking out! Anyone else who's familiar with calorie counting can help me with this? *pulling out her hair*

No one should consume any less than 1,200 calories a day!!!! That is the mininum amount to be healthy. Start off with 1,200 calories, and if you find it doesnt work, add an extra 500 til it works for you. Try www.slimfast.com - itll tell you how many calories you should consume a day.

Update: I had figured it out way too wrong! I learned that the calories added after working out must be consumed as well! Boy, I really messed this up during my first two days. I was starving on those days. Not a good feeling!! I am happier and more satisfied with it now. *phew*
