Default Tom Poston Passes Away

Just read online...

Yahoo News Report

What a funny guy... very sad. And poor Suzanne Pleshette... after her health battles and such.

How sad, RIP.

What a great person and actor he was. My favorite role he did was on Newhart. Loved him on To Tell The Truth too.

One of the all time greats...I liked him in everything he was in. R.I.P. Tom.

Ah really sad - always loved Tom's many characters.

To me, he was the best on Newhart.

I never knew he and Suzanne were married!

Very sad news. He was in a lot of shows, so almost everyone has seen him in something. See the tribute from us at SitcomsOnline:

Awww...Tom Poston was such a funny actor. He was gold as George Utley on Newhart, and just perfect as The Peeper on the Bob Newhart Show. If you check out the 4th season DVD of BNS, you'll hear an audio commentary by Mr. Poston, Ms. Pleshette and Mr. Newhart on "The Long Goodbye". Every time he did a guest spot on Home Improvement, it was a riot.

My heart, prayers and sympathies go out to his family and especially his wife, Suzanne Pleshette. First her cancer battles, now this. Mr. Poston, we'll miss you!! Thank you for all the laughter and memories.

Pray for Suzanne Pleshette, too. With her cancer battle, losing her husband, Tom Poston, might be too much for her to handle.
