Default I guess I'm confused about the Whole Ignore List thing

I thought that if someone was on my Ignore list, that I wouldn't receive email notifications if that person replied to a Thread I was apart of? I guess I was wrong. That was the purpose of me doing the ignore list feature was because I thought I wouldn' be notified by email if the person on my ignore list responded to a thread I was subscribed to.

I believe that Ignore list is just for a person to NOT receive personal PMs directed to you from an ignored person. I think thread notifications are much too generalized to just weed out the people you don't wish to read their post replies.

Is there any way to make it so people can't read your own posts?

Blanche: There must be homosexuals who date women.

Solomon, I've had you on my ignore list for years, but your posts are so forceful, that they break right through the system.

I remember you once asked me if I did that email notification. You asked me how I knew when someone posted on my thread. I told you that I just use my memory to remember what threads I made and what threads I posted to. I don't understand how you can deal with email notification when there a BILLION responses to your threads.
