Default Lets' chat...

Desipte the Luke/Lor/Chris trianagle that obviously has a lot of people (not all) upset... how do you think the rest of the story lines are going??

I love the Lane/Zach/twins thing... I think it' scute. However, I miss the band. I wonder how they are going to be written back in...

I am not sure if I like the character Rory is turning into... then again, we've never seen her in doubt of her future, so it's new.

How do you think the new writers are doing??

The new writers are doing a good job (besides from the L/L/C storyline though). I'm like Lane's storyline, but like you said, I want the band back

Well like MsOrange said, I think the writers are ok besides the L/L/C/ thing I did like the way they wrote Lane and Zack last week with writing Lanes mom moving in with them that was really funny. I do miss the band but I think they might write them back in sometime, but I am not totally sure on that. I do like how there writing Richard and Emily I mean the ep where Emily got stopped by the cop was really good and the Catilian ep was funny also I think the writers aren't doing to bad its just there not writing as many town scenes in each ep like there used to be. The new writer is no Amy Sherman Paladino and you can tell casue the show is lacking that really good writing quality she used to bring to the show like tons of Refernces and stuff like that but other then that I still think the show is funny not quite as funny as it was before but I think there doing alright I mean they would be doing much better if they write Luke and Lorelia back together but I guess we have to take what we get and deal with it for now. I have noticed they don't have the lalala thing inbetween scences and I do miss seeing the town troubadour I sure hope they didn't get rid of him cause he was part of what gave the show it's spark cause no other show had a town troubadour and that was my favorite part last season is the last ep when they had all those troubadours come to the town cause the main toubadour he got a deal with a famous singer. but one thing I didn't like that the writers did was they gave Luke only 45 minute part in the last ep I mean he is a main character he should get more lines then that and all he did was tell Lane she shouldn't work so hard now she is pregnant. But I think Luke will have a bigger part next week even though I am going to cry when he finds out Lorelia got married to Chris. (Stupied Stupied Lorelia shouldn't of done that) So all in all I am happy with the new writers not overly excited about there writing but I can stand it for the most part anyways.

Personally, I am not too thrilled with the new season. While the writing is trying very hard to emulate Amy Sherman's style, it's not doing it for me.
Sometimes it looks like they are trying too hard, and it makes the characters look like they're on speed or something, rambling on too much.

The perfect example would be Rory's two new galpals. They are a bit annoying.
