Talking wouldn't it would have been nice to see isabell sanford on amen

hey i watch amen all of the time on tv one but i have a question wouldn't would have been nice if wheezy was married to erin fry on the show tey did have good chemestry on the jeffersons

Had she been on the show, this would have been the perfect episode:

"Old Flames": The Deacan's high school sweetheart comes into town, and he is ready to rekindle their former romance (Isabel Sanford guest stars).

That would have been a good episode. It would have been nice to see Marla Gibbs on Amen also. She could have been a one episode only hiree before Inga came in. She and the deacon would go at it and they would make remarks elluding to the Jeffersons.

I wonder why IS never did a guest spot on Amen. Marla Gibbs' 227 show aired the same night as Amen, and I wonder why she never did a crossover as Mary Jenkins. SH also could've crossed over to 227 as Deacon Frye. The shows were set in Philly and D.C. which aren't too far away from each other. Missed opportunities...
