Default Saddest Moments

What are some of the saddest moments on TV you can think of?

Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air-When Carlton and Will gets arrested for being black, the ending was very sad.

Roseanne-When Jackie was getting abused.

Saved By The Bell-When Jessie was using drugs to help her study.

Yep definately when Will and Carlton got arrested for being black. I can relate to harassment based on race. I was once told to leave a black owned store because I was white. Plus in high school one of my Hispanic friends had a racist father who often said he didn't want his son hanging out with white people.

On Roseanne the episode where Dan's mother tried to kill him

Not sure if this counts, but I can't watch the Zapruder film/Walter Cronkite telling America about JFK without crying hysterically!

Also, the final episode of MASH of course makes me quite teary!

I agree with alot of the ones said above especially James' death on GT and the John Ritter memorial ep of 8SR. Some others are:
  • Elaine's death on Soap. She was my favorite character.
  • That episode of The Waltons where their aunt or cousin or whatever was being forced off the land she had lived on for most of her life, all so the government could build an interstate or something like that. I can't watch it without sobbing.
