Question 'Shame'. Does anyone remember it?

I think about five years ago or so, there was some made-for-TV movie on USA or TBS or some station like that. It was called 'Shame'. It was about a short-hared blonde woman on a motorcycle who's traveling out in the northwest. Her cycle breaks down in some small logging town. While she waits for her bike to get repaired, she discovers that this big business (I think it's a fishery or logging factory or something like that) in town is owned by this no-good rich family who's so powerful in this town that their sons can get away with running-amuck; beating people up, raping the town's wives and daughters, cruising the streets all drunk late at night and all that over stuff. Nobody in town can do anything about it, but this woman decides to make some waves with this family while waiting for her bike to get fixed. "Yeah, it's easy to stir things up. All you have to do is hop on your bike and ride away if things were to get rough. We got to stay here and live with this," is pretty much the reaction of the innocent townfolk. Anyway, the woman decides to stay and that pretty much is how the movies goes: her taking-on the rich family that rules the town. Has anyone seen this flick? It's called, 'Shame'. The movie is fantastic; and that blonde is as sexy as hell - especially when she's pissed. Please respond if you have seen it; and/or if you know anything about a 'Shame 2'. Yeah, I heard that there was a sequel but never seen it. I would like to get a hold of it.

Did this blond girl have a wacky neighbor or something? She must have... becasue if she didn't, then i can't think of why it would be posted as a subject on a SIT COM message board! As a matter of fact, this "Shame" seems to be about as un-sitcom as you can get!

Oh my word. Oh my word. Oh my word. Yes I do remember that movie; I think it was out in the late-80s though. I think that it's a rather good movie too, and yeah that girl in it is rather pretty. How about the part, Bowser, when one of the sons from that bad rich family went up to the woman at night when she was walking the street alone and she smashed the beer bottle on his head? Yes, I definitely know of the flick and enjoy it and wish that it would be on TV again, and YES, there is a 'Shame Part 2'. Check it out.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that 'Shame' took place near where I live. I'm from out east but have been living here in Kellogg, Idaho for quite sometime now. Visited it, fell in love with it, and then moved there. A great town if you like mountain activities. It has the world's largest gondola! The nightlife is cool - lot of cool bars - and the WOMEN! I say no more. Us Kelloggians like to keep what our town has to offer low-profile. Let CALIFORNIA be overrated. Okay, I'll let it out - once you've been with a Kellogg girl, you NEVER want to go back home. NEVER!

Kellogg rules!!!!!!!!!

Thumbs up

Alright, King of Kellog! Good man for liking this flick! So, you're from Idaho? This Kellog? Is it by some chance the home of 'Kellog's Frosted Flakes? That's NOT a joke. I'm being serious. And the night-life and the women? Is it all that? I love women too. Anyway, I remember the part when the blonde hit that guy over the head with the beer bottle. One thing about that flick that I just couldn't undersatnd is that the guys of the town didn't seem to care to do anything about their wifes or daughters getting s-abused. How bout the quote from that father the morning after his daughter had a 'date' with one of the sons from that rich family - "she deserved it; she should have knew what was coming." I mean, what's with that?! I guess that's why the movie's called 'Shame'. If that were ME - if someone raped my wife, girlfriend, or daughter - I would've taken off my shoes and smacked them around with my feet!

Bowser, man. It's Kellog-g. TWO Gs, not one. Yes, Kellogg is all-that. Got to check it out. Yes, that whole 'the-guys-in-town-doing-nothing' thing really freaked-me-out about the movie too. That indeed is WHY it's called what it's called. Hey, check out the sequel! Tell me what you think.

PS - No, Kellogg IS NOT the home of Rice Crispies!!

Guys, I appreciate the posts but this IS a sitcoms site and message board. I've created a new chit chat board (it's near the bottom of the main message board) so if you want to discuss any off topic subjects such as movies, sports, politics, etc. - please take it there. Thanks!

Cool

Yes, I've seen that flick, but I think that it should called what it called for other reasons; more obvious reasons - the movie is PATHETIC!! Hmmm, notice how not a single person outside of you two until myself responded to this board in what? more than a year?? Get a life, King of Frosted Flakes and Bowser - sha na na!

PS - Hell, I dare ANYONE out there to actually get up and say that they know of this flick.
