I just read about that on tvshowsondvd.com. This is such exciting news! Hopefully they're able to secure the rights to all that fabulous late 80s/early 90s music!

I second that!

I ran out and bought the Pilot episode on DVD the day it came out, like a loser. It's about damn time! Whohoo. I just hope they have the original music, or atleast replace it wisely.

I hope so too, though I don't remember any of the songs they played in the first season cause it's been so long since I've seen it.

Some of the music WILL be replaced. I hope they leave in those cheesey early 90s songs that they always had after the credits, LOL.

Well, it won't be much longer now! I remember when I first heard this news & November was still months away. On November 7th, season 1 of this (& Melrose Place) will both be out on the same day! I'm getting both! Just in time for the holiday season for those of you who also want to buy them as gifts.

Where do you think it will be the cheapest? Target, Wal-mart, DVD Planet, or some other store? Let me know, so I don't have to waste time shopping around for the best deal & in the meantime, it's sold out!

Even though I have all the episodes on tape, I still am going to buy the season 1 DVD. Too bad about the music. It will be interesting to see which songs get cut out. Likely REM losing my religion.

Can anyone tell me, what grade was everyone in the first season? My friend and I were watching a couple of the first episodes and caught a error or blooper. In some episode it was revealed that they were in their Junior year, but that's not possible, considering they graduated in '93. Wouldn't they be Sophmores(sp)?
