The truth is stranger than the fiction you have read all these years, fact one producer Jack Chertok NEVER threw out My Living Doll elements, they were miss placed, also due to the strange way many of the shows were registered back in the sixties many people thought it was PD, not so the rights are intact.
The show is a present being put back together element by element. to make perfect hi def masters. |

We have also found all the master music tapes for both My Favorite Martian and My Living Doll.
We have performed a test transfer of three Martian's and the same number of Doll episodes and guess what.... The tracks are crystal clear perfect highs and lows, they both shows tracks sounded like they were recorded this morning. We also found two versions of the My Living Doll theme music one more robot like the other more horns and strings, really fun tracks both by George Greeley. |

Also found in our inventory search of the Chertok vault, well did you know their is an un-aired pilot for My Favorite Martian, with all kinds of new footage and different characters, if you look at the gold key comic number one it is pretty close to the story used for this un seen show.
And the music is slightly different as well. |

We also found the Kellogs and papermate spot that were made using the sets and actors from the show, they even have special Martian music on them adapted from the score, the othe fun part is that in every case they follow the premise of the episode, in fact even adding punch lines to the story.
They always come in on break four just before the wind up and end credits. |

Do you know when Rhino will release these two sets? Also, any word on Private Secretary or the animated My Favorite Martians?

Ok season three of My Favorite Martian will be some time after October, I think, as for My Living Doll no one has been contracted yet to release it.
Right now job one is to restore the full twenty six episodes into a set of perfect high def masters, once that is done, it will go to cable then DVD. You didn't ask about the other lost Chertok show... Oh and private is not ours. neither is Sky King or the Lone Ranger, all produced by Jack Chertok Productions for some one else. |
