your hometown not really the case?-lol

Custard made Ice Cream
Pizza
Funnel Cake
French Fries
Soft Pretzels

All 4 of those things are EXTREMELY good if you are eating them inside Six Flags but if you are eating them in your living room its not the same-lol

I agree that stuff always tastes goos at amusement parks. Have you ever had Elephant Ears? Those are my favorite snack to get at amusement parks and carnivals. They are so good but I bought one at a bakery one time and it was nasty. It's better to get them fresh right at the park.

I don't go to many amusement parks because I HATE rides. However, in NYC, at the the Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy, the sausage and peppers sandwhich is out of this world. Whenever I get that sandwhich anywhere else, it is not nearly as good.

The food in amusement parks better taste good, for the amount of money you pay for them!!!

The big turkey legs at the Disney parks is one of their most popular food items. I bet you can't get them that good tasting anywhere outside the parks.

Pizza always tastes good to me! Same with french fries!

It's probably the environment that can make a difference, even in how it tastes! I think it's psychological.

I love soft pretzels and French fries at the amusement park or ball park, but I can't stand the frozen ones from the store. They just don't taste the same.

I think they're a puff pastry, and they're shaped to look like elephant ears. That's what I always thought they were.

OMGoodness Brian you are so right! I always go to St. Genarros and eat the sausage and peppers and the Canollis... I never leave without a canolli.

I've never seen those at the amusement parks but I know what you're talking about. I called those the Butterflies. I always see them at the bakeries.

One thing that does not taste good outside the amusement park is the candied apples.

The candied apples in Coney Island were the best.

Try lobsters from Maine. They only taste good if they're consumed in Maine. If you consume Maine Lobster anywhere else, it just doesn't taste the same.

I think it's because at the Parks they're fresh and the ones you buy in the store has been frozen for lord knows how long.

I can make some badass Funnel Cakes.
