Question Curious

Last night, I was playing trivia in a bar & grill, and the question came up:

"What was the first television show that mentioned the word 'condom?' "

The answer was: The Hogan Family

I'm curious... what episode was this, and what was it about? Thanks...

It was the episode 'Bad Timing' where David and a girl, Lori(Valeri Breiman)--who comes to visit(If I can remember correctly, she was a family friend) decide to have sex. David buys condoms and Valerie, his mom finds out. She grabs his bag instead. She is happy that he is planning on using a condom, though. She tries to prepare him for manhood through all of this. In the end though, David and Lori never ended up having sex. They decided to wait.

Yeah, all true. Of course, the worst part of it was-as I've said before-Valerie Breiman was never asked back on the show! Awww...IMO this was likely not so much anything against VB as the "other" Valerie: the producers wanted to "move on" to new storylines once V. Harper was off the show...*shrug*
