Well, I went to the Vans Warped Tour on Saturday. I got one hell of a sunburn, that's for sure. Seriously, I never thought you could get a sunburn in San Francisco until I went to the Warped Tour. The bands were really cool, especially The Ataris. I even got to meet a couple of guys from Less Than Jake. They signed my shirt and we had a little conversation. They were so cool.
Oh, and of course Rancid and 311 had good sets as well. ------------------ " I love the dark, I love the dark. But I hate nature. I HATE nature ." - Chunk |

I like Less Than Jake. My brother used to drive two states to see them back when they were playing little bars and clubs, so I got into their music since my brother had a louder stereo than I did ![]() |

Wow, your brother must be a huge fan. That's great to hear that there are others who like them as much as I do. I reccommend to everyone to check them out. Oh, and I know exactly what you're talking about with the stereo thing. I've becoame a fan of more than a few bands because of my sister's state-of-the-art stereo system. ![]() ------------------ " I love the dark, I love the dark. But I hate nature. LOL! I've lived in a few apartments with really thin walls and have had to hear other people's music. My brother's Less Than Jake is one thing, but the upstairs neighbor and his country music is another. So when I graduated from college and started making decent money, I bought a $4000 stereo system to assure that I never again lose a stereo war. And I actually converted the country music fan to Pink Floyd. |

Loud country music. I don't think I've ever been subjected to such torture. But yes, just like yourself, I finally got a decent stereo and started blasting my likes. We occasionally get into a stereo war. Nobody ever wins though. ![]() ------------------ " I love the dark, I love the dark. But I hate nature. I HATE nature ." - Chunk |
