Cool Jason Bateman midseason

Here's a new pic for his new show on CBS. It's based on the movie Kiss Me Guido. It's called 'Me and Frankie Z'.(for the time being) Sounds a little too close to the unsuccessful show 'The Famous Teddy Z.' Don't you agree? Let's just hope the character's last name isn't Zakalokis! haha--and let's really hope Jon Cryer doesn't appear on an episode!* That would be too much of a coincidence!

Here's the pic. Hopefully the show will be a success for him, though!

*The Famous Teddy Z starred Jon Cryer and appeared on CBS' line-up in the 1989-1990 fall season

Weird, all over I've been hearing that the series was just going to be titled "Kiss Me Guido" or that's what Imdb listed it as. I'm really looking forward to seeing him back on television, lets tune in and hope it stays around for a while. It seems new sitcoms have trouble staying on the networks.

Cool

That's what I heard until now it was supposed to be called Kiss me Guido. I don't know--I wonder when it's coming on..like what day and time. Hopefully Mondays at 8:30pm just like where the Hogan Family was. That's a good time slot, too to help it last.

I heard the show got cancelled on TV even though it won some awards.
The ratings on Fox were low, it's pretty sad. The producers are hoping
to put in on Showtime, other networks don't show much interest.

Methinks you're confusing two shows here. The one that this thread refers to is called Some of My Best Friends while the one that you're referring to is Arrested Development. It's kind of sad that Jason has had so many shows cancelled prematurely that even his fans can't seem to keep track of them. I just hope he hits his stride sometime soon. We can only hope...
