Default Anyone here been to Hawaii?

I am planning on going back to Los Angeles in early September and then off to Hawaii (maybe) for a week. Has anyone been there before, is it worth going to, how much does a flight usually cost from LA to there?

Cheers

Well, I'm going in November, and so far from all the Midwest airports, it's $800+. But from the west coast airports, it's been more like $200-300 roundtrip to Maui. May be a little cheaper to Honolulu, I don't know.

No, but I have great Hawaii story. My cousin went there with some friends for a vacation almost 30 years ago. She met a Hawaiian man, fell in love and relocated there. Today, they're still married and have three adult children.

Too bad, I never been here before.

It's so facinating that I could see myself to Hawaii's native wildlife and nature, and many things I can see. Maybe I can refer myself to Hawaii books later. Anyway, have fun dear!

I'll love to spend a few months in Hawaii, and study the state's geographic features.

I'd really love to go too, but...with all those girls in grass skirts, I think geography is the last thing I'll be studying!

I've been there twice. I loved it there but next time I want to try the other islands, Oahu is a bit crowded. Just sitting by the ocean was really relaxing.

I totally forgot about Oahu! Yeah, I haven't been to that island before either. The only thing I know about Oahu is books.
