After almost four years, someone is responding to your post. I am on a serious Jem fix this weekend. I am watching episodes on Youtube. I love the videos and have been playing them over and over again. I wish that Rio had found out that Jerrica and Jem were the same person. I have some episodes that I downloaded from the bit torrent files.

As a little girl growing up in the 80s, my sister and I ADORED this shows. We had the dolls, the tapes, etc. With Rio two-timing Jem and Jerrica (even though they were really the same and he didn't know it) and the rivalry with The Misfits, it really was like a cartoon soap opera! No wonder it's had such a cult following all these years!!

I am listening to "Only the beginning" by the Holograms on youtube as I type. It takes me to a happier time in my life back in the mid 80's. Love it.

I USED TO WATCH IT TOO ON WGN 9! Cool Aaron. You are right. It did air at 4:30pm. However, since I was living on the eastcoast, what was 4:30pm to you was 5:30pm to me. I would see the show at 5:30pm on WGN along with the 9pm news at 10pm. LOL. I was just thinking about that yesterday how I'd watch Jem on my local station in Tampa, FL and then watch it on cable @ 5:30pm on WGN 9. I loved that WGN 9 was on our cable line up.

Default Who remembers Jem and The Holograms?

Me! I used to do the ear thing and say"Showtime Synergy. I wish My dad would give me lavish gifts when he dies, but he and mom won't have any money,so my brother and I will have to sell the house, and the inheritance won't be big. I would love to see all seasons on dvd.I missed it the first time.

Default rediscovered classic

I did love this show back then, along with "G.I. Joe" (wasn't really a Transformers fan).
Thanks to the DVDs, I rediscovered this classic a few years ago. I loved how the cartoons back then had substance, story and action, unlike the cartoons of today. I'd rather have stuff like "Jem", Bugs Bunny, Fat Albert, G.I. Joe and Scooby Doo over Spongebob anyday.
I wanted to get the DVDs, but they were out of print but when Shout came out with the complete series, I wanted to get it but I didn't have enough money to get them.
So imagine my surprise when I saw this show on NETFLIX, along with "G.I. Joe"! I watched this show on Netflix from beginning to end and I loved every minute of it. I even got my roommates hooked on "Jem" and they loved it too. I'm on my way to finishing GI Joe on Netflix as well. It was like going back in time- sitting on the floor with my bowl of cereal and watching cartoons.
I even found all of the songs and put them on CD as my own little soundtrack since there was no music released from this show! Who needs "Glee" when you have "Jem"?
