Hello all!
I was wondering if any of you out there would be willing to help me out. I'm in the middle of creating a webpage that contains a section on my favorite TV shows, and yes, THE HOGAN FAMILY is included. What I'd like is some help with my episode guide. I need the episode descriptions (as well as the date it aired if it wasn't a repeat) that were written up in TV Guide but I don't have all of them. Would anyone be willing to email me info on the episodes? It doesn't matter how many you can do. If you only have one, I'll take it. I have all of the VALERIE episodes, so I only need the years from VALERIE'S FAMILY and on. Though I mostly prefer the show during it's VALERIE phase, I think it's unfair to have the Sandy years with no info. Besides, Sandy was hysterical in her own right as well (it's the writing that sometimes sucked, not Sandy, but I digress). Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. If any of you are interested in viewing what I have done so far, visit: http://www.angelfire.com/music2/ejsnet/frame. html Click on TV shows and you'll see a list there. THE HOGAN FAMILY is there, along with the other show that Valerie Harper starred in called CITY. On the bottom of the HOGAN FAMILY page are some reviews of the show as well as some info from when Valerie Harper was fired from the show, and when she won her court case (too bad they didn't bring Valerie Hogan back to life!!!). The articles are all from TV Guide. Let me know what you think. Before I go, if you recognise any pics that appear on Todd's HOGAN FAMILY page, fret not. I got these pics myself and I made Todd some copies through email. This was done before I thought to create my own page. If Todd, or any of you, want me to send copies of the photos I have, feel free to email me at ejsnet1@ici.net Thanks! Ed ------------------ Edward Viveiros, Jr. |

Hello again,
Just tried accessing my page through the link I set up. For some reason, the message board didn't include the "html" at the end of it, though it is there. So if you plan to visit my page, make sure "html" is at the end of it (without the quotes of course). Sorry for any inconvenience! http://www.angelfire.com/music2/ejsnet/frame.html Thanks! Nice work Ed with your pages! You have alot of photos that you probably bought on eBay and the articles and descriptions are fun to read. I have a few photos and a presskit that I bought on there. I'll add a link to your page shortly.
I'm not sure what size your monitor your using but the photos on your page look so tiny to me on my screen (800x600). You are probably scanning them at a high rate but reducing them to a very low height and width. When I scan in photos, I usually reduce them to a width of about 500 or 550. If you could e-mail me any of the photos in a larger size that you haven't already sent me in the past, I would be grateful to have them! Thanks! You're absolutely right! I did get those pics on Ebay. Sometimes I've paid almost $50 for them, like the press pic used for Sandy Duncan's first appearance in "Movin' On". Yikes! BTW, thanks for the nice words on my 'work in progress'. I'm not the most computer savvy so I appreciate your comments. Did you check out the mini page on Valerie Harper's other series, CITY? Quote:
I am reducing them, only because I'm only alloted 5 MB of space, and those pics take up a lot of it. When I've acquired a bit more in the way of photos (as well as articles, interviews, etc.) I'll switch to a better network that allows more space. When I do it'll probably be one that I have to pay for, but that doesn't bother me 'cause I'll have a lot more to show for it. THE HOGAN FAMILY may end up being a page in itself. Quote:
No problem pal. Truth to tell, it's YOUR page on the Hogans that's inspired me to even try to create one of my own, so trust me, if I'm gonna share my photos with anybody, it's going to be with you. I notice you have some of the pics that were bought on Ebay, but they were scanned on Ebay slightly crooked. I could send a more straightened version of the photos if you want. Just give me a couple of days to send 'em. Now, does anyone have any TV Guide episode descriptions that they could share with me so I can complete my episode guide? Let me know! Thanks! ------------------ Edward Viveiros, Jr. |
