I had been thinking of a reunion movie that would show us what happened to the members of the Hogan family. I then discovered this site and read that others were interested as well. My original idea was to have it in the tradition of Dallas and make the Sandy Duncan years a dream!! LOL!!! I still love that idea but if there is a way to incorporate
Sandy AND Valerie, that would be awesome as well. Imagine Valerie being a grandma!! Mike mgrasso@bw.edu (forwarded from old message board) |

she was way cooler than sandy though, in my opinion. But Valerie could be in it IF the SANDY years were a dream, which the person who suggested a reunion stated. If so, then Valerie Hogan is alive and well so it could happen. I doubt we'd ever see such a thing, though, at least with Valerie. Lorimar and Miller & Boyett are still plenty pissed off with her since she whipped their butts in court. Something like that is hard to get over (she got MILLIONS ultimately) so the only way to see a "Valerie/Hogan Family" reunion would be for a totally new company/production team to take over. I myself would love to see such a thing, along with other characters like Barbara Goodwin and Annie Steck. I particularly liked Annie. She had a quick wit about her (remember her helping Valerie slam the kitchen doors when Michael, who was on strike, was driving Valerie and the boys crazy?) and it's too bad she was also axed from the series. And... Whatever happened to Caroline, Michael's other sister? She was introduced in the pilot and never heard from or mentioned again, not even in family functions like weddings and funerals. What is it with the Hogans anyway? One moment a person is the center of their universe (e.g., Valerie Hogan) and the next, when they're gone, they act like said person never existed. Hey, now there's an idea for a reunion: the Hogans are in therapy seeking a cure for their repressed angst. Maybe then, through flashback, all those old characters would come to light... Just a thought... ![]() Ed (forwarded from old message board) |
