Dear Fans:
Hello, My sister kind of started me being a fan of the fab four THE MONKEES which includes: Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones, Mike Nesmith and Peter Tork. I remember THE MONKEES rerun on MTV one year (probably between 1984, 1985 or 1986). I went to one of their first reunion concerts which came to my hometown. I thought the concert was excellent. I am still a fan. Thank you for your consideration and time, thanks again. Have a peaceful, pleasant & safe day!!!! Sincerely Signed, Mindy |

Hi,Mindy! It was my brother who first saw the Monkees' show and got me to watching it!We were ardent fans from then on-and when my grades were bad and I could only watch one show during school-weeks the one I picked was THE MONKEES.I liked Mike,Mickey,Davy and Peter all equally. They really should be called the pre-fab four, because after all they were put together just for the show.Yet I admire them for breaking out from Kirshner control and for a while actualy being a real group-playing their own instruments and chosing their own songs.Their records were good, and I have their first four albums.by the way it was 1986 when their show was run on MTV.I remember that well, and I taped many shows that year on my(relatively)new VCR.
