Hi, everyone. I am the newest member of this forum. My musical tastes are mostly rock n' roll from nearly all genres, 50s to 80s classic, but I'm also into 60s-70s rhythm-and-blues/soul, and just a casual interest in jazz, but mostly as performed by women instrumentalists, and I'm a guy, but I never believed that YKW [no obscene junk from me] about women not excelling as musicians,be it instrumentally or vocally. I've lately become a fan of The Diva Jazz Orchestra, which is led by the sensational and talented drummer Sherrie Maricle. Those women know how to swing with the best of them, and they're pretty hot looking, too. Any of you heard of them? Oh, well, that's all I'll say.

my dad grew up in Carneige, cool.

A lot of my family still lives there.
