Post guest stars from the jeffersons

During the run of the series Sherman Hemsley(george), Roxie Roker(helen) and Franklin Cover(tom) all made guest appearances on 227. The most notorious omission would be Isabel Sanford(louise) who never appeared in 227 or Amen in a guest role. I was wondering if she was asked and turned down her former costars or was there a rocky relationship between her and marla gibbs??

Many famous people from Norman Lear / Columbia Library have guest starred on '227'.

I know about the other guest stars ,i was asking specifically why isabel(Weezy) never guest starred on her former co stars new series. My theory is they didn't get along in real life.

I think that it's wrong to jump to the conclusion that Isabel Sanford didn't guest star on 227 or Amen just because she didn't get along with her Jeffersons costars. When the Jeffersons ended in 1985, Isabel was 68 years old. Since the Jeffersons ended she has made very rare guest appearances. I can't say how well Isabel and Marla Gibbs get along but I can say that Sherman Hemsley and her must get along pretty well. Even though she never guest starred on Amen, she did guest star together with Hemsley on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as George and Louise Jefferson and also guest starred together on Lois & Clark: the New Adventures of Superman.
