They have a nice rapport on the show. I'm wondering if they were friendly in real life and if they stayed in contact when the show ended?

They had an E! Hollywood True Story on Redd Foxx a few years ago. Demond was talking about Redd and he was saying how know one knew Redd like he did. They joked around on the set a lot. After S&S ended, they kept in touch. Onething though, when Redd died, Demond didn't make it to the funeral, because he wasn't in the country. |

I'm glad to know they got along. I always wondered about that.

I was always under the impression that they were close. I think Demond was in awe of Redd's comedic brilliance, and considered it an honor to work with him. |

I once heard Redd Foxx say that he did not have a son, but if he did, he'd want a son just like Demond Wilson. I guess that means they had lots of respect for one another.

Demond Wilson and Reed Fox look like they got along with one another.

Yeah, seems like Demond was, alot of the time, trying not to break up at Redd Foxx's antics on the show, especially toward the end of some of the shows-lol
