Question Information On Mr. Bear?

Anyone happen to have or know any information on "Mr. Bear"? And what I mean is where I could find one and what exactly type of bear he is?

I was told he was a Paddington Bear. True?

Thank You!

I have been looking for one for years but I heard that they only made a few dozen back than. I remembering Jodie saying in an interview in the early 90's that she was lucky to get the one she used on the show because the store they got it at stop making them. It will be very hard to find it. I don't know what type of bear it was.

I forgot the exact maker of the bears, but I have one that's similar, I got it in the late 80's or early 90's, and it was quite expensive back then. The bears were all given a name that was a take on a famous person or character. The one Stephanie had was called Bearlock Holmes. The one I have is Marlon Bearando. I also saw another one called Scarlett O'Beara. I remember seeing them in only 2 stores--one store that sells cards/craft and art supplies/collectibles, and the other an expensive, small toy store (where I bought mine).

I first thought I found Mr. Bear while on vacation in San Francisco. Back home I watched Full House on DVD and realized I got the wrong bear (but I like him anyway).

Where there different types of Bearlock Holmes? I stumbled upon an ebay auction. His fur looks different and he wears other clothes.
