Question What's Happening vs. What's Happening Now

For me, What's Happening was always one of my favorites. What's Happening Now seemed to be lacking something - what did you think of the new series?

Whats Happening is the best, Hands down !!
The spinoff was very weak and after Rerun quit the show it was over.

I liked both versions, but WH had more flavor.

WH was much better than the sequel. It was not the same without Mama and Dee. I loved WH and thought it should have run longer.

Ya'll remember Martin Lawrence used to be on What's Happening Now working in the restaurant? Anne Marie Johnson who was Roger's wife on What's Happening Now has also played on the tv show In The Heat Of The Night, the movies I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, Hollywood Shuffle, Strictly Business with Halle Berry & she was on In Living Color for a minute after Damon Wayans, Tommy Davidson, Keenan Ivory Wayans left. She is so damn skinny. Does she ever eat?

What's Happening was better because the cast was younger and hipper at the time. I liked WH now, but it definitely lacked something. They just weren't funny in adult situations.
