Oh No Bookman is so not funny.

Is it just me, or is the character of Bookman the most unfunny character in the history of GT's? Why in the hell did the keep this character around?

I don't think he was funny. But I thought it was funny when the others made fun of him.

Yeah, his character was funny because of the fat jokes. I liked Bookman's actions, like posing as Willona's husband. But he was as corny as Keith when he tried to do voice impersonations.

Bookman's impersonations at the Rent Party weren't bad. I don't think he was really meant to be a funny character. I always thought he was supposed to be a "bad guy" type who gaves the Evans family trouble. I think later he became more of a friendly character, but initially he was not.

Bookman was funny in small doses.

Oh No

(IMO) Bookman was so annoying in the final epsiode of GT's. There was no reason for him to be in it.

As much as I love GT (and I have ALLLL the seasons on DVD) I have to ask you, was there ANYone on the show aside from JJ that was funny? Even Ned the Wino wasn't much of a scream. Booger was just a good foil for fat jokes. He was the jerk we weren't supposed to like.

By the way, I'm watching these shows in consecutive order and I'm in the fourth season. I just saw the episode of James Sr.'s funeral. I haven't seen this episode since it first aired when I was a kid and wow, I remember almost every detail. Maybe I didn't see that many episodes as a kid because this episode and the one where the old woman was eating dog food are the only ones I remember.iiiiii
