Talking past show references

As small as this was, it was one of the funniest parts of the show for me, since the lead roles are Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers. I remember a few episodes where they mentioned "Dallas," "American Grafitti," and "Three's Company." They even briefly hinted Suzanne Somers' "Thighmaster" infomercials! I'm surprised that in the christmas episode with Don Knotts they never made him a landlord instead of a deputy.

There was another reference. The western episode when Jean Luc and Frank were in a shooting faceoff.

Jean Luc:Hey Look. J.R.!
Frank:Where?

yeah the funniest reference i have seen is carol with jean luc. i dont remember it too well but it was something like..
carol:you look like (somebody, i cant remember)
and he says something like..
"well you look like chrissy from threes company" that was a good one and also the other day they made a threes company reference. but fox family definitely cuts WAY too much of that show out..and its sooo obvious! -leslie

I remember when they did the detective show on the Missing Diary, Cody was gathering suspects and Suzanne somers said something like "Gee, I always thought Three's Company" and the audience applauded.
