Default Weird Statement By James in Alaska Job episode...

After the family finds out the location of James impending job, Flo tells James how could he leave his children alone for a whole year. Then James responded with words to the effect of "Florida I've thought abt that, their grown now, etc." How much time did he think abt that? Two minutes? Not very long if you ask me

well, Willona started it by telling Flo abt the EN-TER-TAIN-MENT; Flo told James she knows he wouldn't be a part of that; then MAGICALLY Michael comes in after having had that fight with the gang (POOF) the dream was over...no Alaska job

yeah, he gave the impression (and misconception) that Alaska was this barren landscape. With that job, they would have lived a helluva lot better where ever they would have lived in Alaska. And the gangs there....wait, what gangs???!!

But remember, James said he wasn't taking the family...he was leaving them behind for a year.

in my view, James could have spoken with the company (remember, he was going down there the next day to get all the info on the job) he could have inquired abt if he could take his family, if he took them there, what housing was available; he could have worked for several weeks, then acquired an apartment or house for the family to come out and join him. The possibilities were endless. Damn James!!! Damn Michael!!! Damn Flo!!!
