I have two DINOSAURS audio cassettes: "Big Songs" and "Classic Tales." Has
anyone else heard the latter? Some really funny stuff, better than some of the TV episodes. The setup is Earl is reading fairy tales to Baby to get him to go to sleep: "Goldiscales and the Three Giant Sloths," "Cinderellasaurus," "Hanselsaurus and Greteldactyl," and "Little Red Riding Horn." Characters from the show portray various fairy tale characters with hilarious results. |

Much to my surprise, I just received an email from writer Richard Marcus, which I would like to share:
Dear Star Collector, I don’t know when (what year) you posted the query about Dinosaur Fairy Tales but I just stumbled across it and it made my day since I’m the guy who wrote them. My name is Richard Marcus (I believe it’s on the packaging). I don’t know how much you know about the amount of editing and such goes on with most TV shows and spin off products but its mind boggling. So, what was so great about this one (for me as a writer), and why I take such pride in it is that they didn’t change a word from my first draft! That usually never happens. In fact there are some lines I put in which I’m amazed they kept. It was fun to read your comments . I even have some background stories such as, how much of what Earl did was me attempting to tell stories to my own son. Oy. Thanks again, Richard Marcus
