I'm really ticked off because "Ellen" is my fourth favorite sitcom of all time. Plus, season three is my favorite season. Maybe if we all go out and buy a hundred copies of season two, each, they might release season 3.

I find that hard to believe. Ellen has a huge hit talk show, and I would think more people would be interested in her sitcom. It gets played on Oxygen a lot so that has probably damaged sales.

I didn't think they'd cancel dvd plans for Ellen, the mid-seasons were some of the funniest.

As I said, they told me they had no current plans, as of now, to release further seasons, but no one ever said no more seasons would be out. Thankfully someone closer to A&E contacted TVShowsonDVD.com and said they do have plans. So, out of all this good news did come out of this!

This still doesn't mean A&E is proud of their sale numbers, so make sure you buy a copy if you are a fan.

This is definetly good news. I don't have Seasons 1 & 2 yet, but will be sure to get them before Season 3 comes out. (this will also be a blind buy for me so I am very excited)

In my opinion, season 1 isn't all that great. Season 2 is a BIG improvement filled with many classic episodes ("Guns N' Ellen" being one of them). But to me, season 3 is the best of all 5. Season 4 is good and season 5 is okay. It would have been better if Ellen's friends had stayed around more often. It's like they went from being regulars to being recurring.

BTW, this is great news! I'm so excited and now I don't have to buy a hundred copies.
