Default The best advice anyone's ever given you?

I have a two Really, Really good advices. On the day of Hurricane Katrina,(The day everyone was supposed to be home), I went to my bank to withdraw money. The bank teller(as I was withdrawing money) looked at me, and said, "Go home. You don't need to be out here in this rain. Go relax at home."(I was withdrawing money in this RAINY hellhole of a day). I thanked him, and went home and relaxed.

Another time, on another website, I confessed to being multiple personalities. I deleted them almost immeadiatley, but I brought it up more than once, and one poster said, "Stop talking about it. People on this board may like you if you stop talking about it. I did, and they stopped for a while, until some other posters that seemed like the posters I deleted began posting. Uh-oh. Now they think I'm those other people when I'm not. Still it was good advice not to talk about the multiple personalities. When the poster gave me this advice, she had no idea that the other posters would post similar things like my deleted personalities.

That post confused me so much.

But anyway, the best advice someone's ever given me... "It's all going to be okay. Maybe not today, nor tomorrow, but one day, it'll be okay". She was right.

To be a Broadway Freak, you must live, eat, sleep, study, devout, think, obsess, dream, believe Broadway.
You must know original & revival casts, soundtracks, performance runs, dates, theatres, numbers, how many Tony Awards A Chorus Line won.
You must be Broadway.
That's right bitches. I AM Broadway.

My math teacher in 9th grade gave me really good advice. She actually said to be aware of everything. (She was really refering to street signs for when you start driving.) But ever since then I've made it a habit to look for exit sings, shady looking people, police stations, etc. )

My mommy told me something her mommy told her...she said, "Lauren, you have to do what makes you happy." SO, I quit field hockey and pissed a lot of people off which was REALLY hard because I loved being goalie and I loved my team, BUT in return, I'm taking an acting class, a musical theatre dance class and getting voice lessons, and I'm in three shows, one as ensemble, one as a supporting character and I got the lead in a show for which the music and script is ROCKIN'. I gave up something that I dreaded going to practice for, and got 6 awesome things in return. Also, following that conversation, I've slowly detached myself from people who REALLY dragged me down and I didn't enjoy being in their company and I've made some more friends who I have so much fun with and I love to death. I've been living by my mom's advice for the past few months and it's been the most rewarding few months of my life.

SO MY ADVICE, "SitcomsOnline, YOU HAVE TO DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!"

While I was growing up my mother used to tell me and my sisters to treat others the way that we would want to be treated. I have always tried to do that.
