Exclamation Valerie Harper running for president!

this is BIG news from tvguide.com:

VALERIE HARPER FOR PRESIDENT?: As reported, Little House on the Prairie darling Melissa Gilbert is running for president of the Screen Actors Guild, but now she faces some stiff competition: Valerie Harper. Harper, who announced her candidacy Thursday, is being backed by the current SAG president, William Daniels (St. Elsewhere, Boy Meets World). "I think Valerie will make a great president because she is a centrist who can pull together all sides of the union," Daniels told Variety. Harper, who is currently starring in Broadway's The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, was unavailable for comment.

Good luck Valerie!

Good luck Valerie!

There's an article in the July 30 issue of People about the election.

The great thing about Valerie is she has the support of all her loyal fans!
