A few years back, on my parents aniversary...my dad went into town with my brother-in-law. We all assumed he would get a gift for mom then. Yeah, he forgot. He went into town to buy himself a drill. So when he gets and we ask him about mom's gift he was like oops...uuuhhh..here. He gave her the drill!! We laughed. Of course he was in the dog house for awhile.

So to make it up, he went to the jewelry and got 2 gift certificates each in the ammount of what her age was. Yeah you guessed it, he picked the wrong age. He made her like 2 years older. Oh man, dad STILL hasn't lived that down.

To this day, dad has to ask mom to borrow HER drill.
