Even if Florida wasn't entered into the nicest apartment contest, what would provoke our favorite militant midget to bring home a drunk? Sometimes, I think Michael was a little too damn smart. He should've done what me and my buddies would've done. Watch him dance and make a fool out of himself in the street and laugh at him
Or do what a friend did. Keep throwing a football at him hard until he falls down. (True story)However James had me going when he said to Ned. "I bet your liver wants to know what the hell is going on too". Last, if Florida won first prize, then I wonder what the other apartments looked like You also got to admit that the contest was bogus. Ned's wife only gave it to them because they cleaned up her husband. |

If you could clean up Ned and sober him up then you deserve the prize. But yead Michael went too far when he brought Ned home.

Michael had this thing about bringing old men home. Remember the old man that came to the house to die.

I never thought of this, but that cleaning didn't do Ned any good. He continued being a drunk. He showed up after James' funeral loaded, and with a turkey.

Maybe Michael couldn't make friends and was desperate.

it just didn't make sense at all the episode. Look at their apartment after the contest. it went right back to being the ol' way. So why fix it up?

Of course we all know in real life that if a child brought home a wino, the parents would have said-"GET THAT DIRTY CRUSTY A$$ DRUNKEN MAN OUT OF MY HOUSE BEFORE I BEAT YOUR A$$" AND I MEAN NOW
LOL |
