Default Why wasn't the Breanna and Arnez characters just given their own spinoff since this

season,

1.Father will only appear periodically
2.Breanna's best friend is gone
3.Flex's friend is gone
4.Breanna and Arnez will be living in California and new actors/actresses will be added to the cast to play their roomates

So the situation is completely different and the name of the spinoff should be called Breanna and Arnez-lol

The network didn't want to risk having a flop, this way if it flops they can cancel it and possibly get the whole show into syndication. I've heard things about this show already and it sounds really bad.

this was what i was thinking. I mean, thats really what it sounds like. However i am very disappointed that spirit and duane are gone from the show. Breanna and Arnaz cannot carry that show by themselves and the new actors that are on there that i know of (Ray J, maybe Kel but he wasnt that funny on the parkers) they cant carry that show. Personally I would have love to see the original people carry out the show on its last season. I think it is only fair. Or atleast dont single them out and dont have them in it at all. They could atleast show up on certain episodes like during the holidays or just go out to california to visit arnaz and breanna. I was hoping that Spirit would have gone to California with them, after all she did go to New York with them. But maybe thats just me. Like others have said in recent posts i believe this is going to be its last season. I mean, when the show first started out, it had such good story lines and stuff but last season it started going downhill. They need some new and good writers.

I didn't really get into the season premiere. It was alright. Yeah, it's time for this show to go. The comments and cast are so stereotypical. I've never seen the new cast in anything before, except Ray J. I think his character fits him, but other than that, I couldn't believe I wasted my 30 minutes watching this show. I'll probably end up watching it again next Monday because there isn't much on.

I didn't like Monday's episode that much either. The 2 white people & the asian girl that is Brianna & Arnez's roommates are lame. The white dude tried to talk black a couple of times & he wasn't funny. I can't see Kel playing a landlord. I see he's grown a beard which makes him look older. I wouldn't be surprised if this show got cancelled halfway through the season because it's wack already. Brianna looks so good though. Her body has really grown nicely.

Yeah, Monday's show was stupid. I really think this season is going to be it's last. It would have been ok if Spirit was with them at least. Plus there's too many changes & way too many characters added. It's almost like a completely different show.

This show sucks rocks!!!

Its horrible. I never really liked it too much before. I did a little bit but now its just silly. I mean the name of the show is "One on One" meaning Flex is a single father raising his daughter Breanna...ONE on ONE..So how is it ONE on ONE now that Flex isnt on there that much anymore, Breanna and Arnez have moved away and the main focus is on them and their new roommates...Someone please tell me how this is "ONE on ONE"

Well Flex should have been removed himself from this show.

LOL@this show sucks rocks. One On One needs to be cancelled right now. I haven't watched it since the first episode for this season. I knew after watching the first episode, it was gonna suck.

I prefer the original format, but at the same time the original format was getting repetitive. I'm not saying that this "remix" is a big improvement, but imo it is tolerable because I like the characters of Arnaz and Brianna. The other characters haven't really grown on me much. It would have been a little better if Arnaz, Brianna, and Spirit moved into an apartment and those other characters could have been their neighbors. I think it would have been funny if Sprit was there dissing on the new people. Also the show still could have took place in Baltimore so we could still see Flex storylines(even though Flex and Danielle storylines would have probably been the same as Flex and Tonya storylines from season 1 or Flex and awful Natalie storylines from season 2). I personally didn't really care for Dwayne so can't say I miss him, but he was apart of the show and shouldn't have been forgotten. I don't think it matters whether this season was still the original format or the remix, either way this is probably the last season anyway.

i agree. might i add, that if they wanted to have brianna go off to college in california, and arnaz to follow her, to me, they should have moved the whole cast to california. like flex got a better sports job in california and spirit could have been going to school for fashion design and then some company comes and discover her and she starts making a name for herself and that way, brianna still had her dad there and her best friend along with arnaz. as for duane, since cuts is based in baltimore, he could have gotten a spot on there and have him hook back up with Candy. this new show is really gettin on my nerves cuz its not funny or have its episodes with messages. i watched the first episode and wasnt fond, and then i watched their 100th episode to see if it got n e better. but it didnt. when flex popped in for a visit, it would have been nice if spirit came also. hopefully they will bring the 1st 4 seasons in syndication in January or the spring season.
