Neither, I prefer cable. I wouldn't be able to get Padre games.

But at least when I move out next year, I'll have my XM Satellite Radio, so I'll be able to listen to them.

DirecTV; I'm pretty sure that's the only way you can get NFL Sunday Ticket, and all those other good sports packages.

I had Dish Network for quite a long time, the programming is OK but their customer service is AWFUL. I made the switch to DirecTV and I've been happy with it so far.

Look at it this way, in terms of set-up and simplicity DirecTV is better they also have a few more channels to offer than Dish as well as NFL Sunday Ticket. With Dish it's mandatory to have a dual LNB dish but with Direc you really only need to point your dish in one location unless you want foreign programming. I've always had satellite and always will, it's has only gone out once or twice that I could remember in all the years I've had it and it is a bargain compared to digital cable.

I love DirecTV. We used to have Comcast digital cable but it definitely sucked. Our DirecTV never goes out at all, either.

That is not exactly true. I need a second dish here to get locals.

Neither - I'll take basic cable.

Too many channels for me, anyway. I don't watch TOO many channels nor do I have the time to flip through a lot of the channels. It sounds like they're more trouble than they are worth if weather affects them.

Always liked cable and I can easily live without the gazillion channel universe.
